Abstract
BSTRAK Ardianny, Yunky, 2023 Analisis Penerapan Metode Mind Mapping Dalam Pembelajaran IPS Pada Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Kanisius Genuk. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Darul Ulum Islamic Centre Sudirman GUPPI Kabupaten Semarang.Pembimbing Utama : Drs. Moh. Fakih.,M.Si Pembimbing Pendamping : Nimas Puspitasari.,S.Pd.,MPd. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya beberapa siswa yang kurang aktif dan kurang tertarik serta menganggap bahwa pelajaran IPS kurang menarik sehingga membuat malas untuk mengingat dan mempelajari berbagai materi Fokus penelitian yaitu bagaimanakah analisis penerapan metode Mind Mapping dalam pembelajaran IPS. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis penerapan metode Mind Mapping dalam pembelajaran IPS. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelas V dan seluruh siswa kelas V SD Kanisius Genuk Ungaran yang berjumlah 12 anak. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Semua data tersebut dianalisis dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode triangulasi teknik. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 18 Januari 2023 di SD Kanisius Genuk Ungaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode mind mapping dilihat dari hasil wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi sudah sesuai dengan langkah-langkah di RPP. Walaupun ada beberapa aspek pembelajaran yang belum terlaksana dengan baik dan maksimal yaitu waktu yang kurang dalam pembuatan mind mapping serta ada 2 siswa yang membuat kegaduhan.Tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan metode ini beragam seperti menyebutkan bahwa pembelajarannya menyenangkan, mudah dipahami dan tidak membosankan. Kelebihan mind mapping membuat siswa lebih fleksibel, dapat memusatkan perhatian dan meningkatkan pemahaman. Sedangkan kekurangannya yaitu hanya peserta didik yang aktif yang terlibat tidak sepenuhnya murid belajar dan hasil mind map yang bervariasi membuat guru kewalahan dalam memeriksanya.Sebelum metode pembelajaran diterapkan siswa pasif dan kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran,namun setelah diterapkannya metode ini,siswa menjadi aktif dan mudah dipahami sehingga pembelajaran tidak membosankan dan menyenangkan. This research was motivated by the existence of some students who were less active and less interested and considered that social studies lessons were less interesting so that it made them lazy to remember and study various materials The focus of the research is how to analyze the application of the Mind Mapping method in social studies learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of the Mind Mapping method in social studies learning. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The object in this study was the class V teacher and all grade V students of SD Kanisius Genuk Ungaran totaling 12 children. The techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. All these data were analyzed with a descriptive analysis approach using the triangulation technique method. This research was conducted on January 18, 2023 at SD Kanisius Genuk Ungaran. The results showed that the application of the mind mapping method seen from the results of interviews, observations and documentation was in accordance with the steps in the RPP. Although there are some aspects of learning that have not been carried out properly and optimally, namely less time in making mind mapping and there are 2 students who make noise.Student responses to the application of this method are varied, such as mentioning that the learning is fun, easy to understand and not boring. The advantages of mind mapping make students more flexible, able to focus attention and increase understanding. While the drawback is that only active students are involved, not fully students learn and the results of varied mind maps make teachers overwhelmed in checking them. Before the learning method was applied, students were passive and less active in learning, but after the application of this method, students became active and easy to understand so that learning was not boring and fun.
