Abstract
Elementary students in Indonesia generally show limited ecoliteracy, a gap that is worsened by teaching materials that rarely tie environmental ideas to local traditions. To close this gap, an e-module for Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) grounded in ethnoecology and drawing on the local wisdom around Mount Ungaran was designed, tested for feasibility, and evaluated for its capacity to raise fifth grade students' ecoliteracy. An ADDIE-based Research and Development (R&D) design guided the work, carried out with 18 fifth-grade students at SDN Jetis 2 Bandungan. Feasibility data came from expert validation forms, while learning gains were captured through a pretest-posttest design both were examined through descriptive quantitative analysis and the N-Gain test. Content experts rated the module at 87% and media experts at 89%, both placing it in the "highly valid" range, while teacher and student responses reached 86% and 80% respectively. Learning gains averaged an N-Gain of 0.67 (medium category), a statistically significant improvement (p < 0.000). These findings support the module's feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness for building ecoliteracy.
