Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between physical activity outside the classroom and learning activeness among fourth-grade students at SDN Mluweh 01 Ungaran Timur. The research employed a quantitative correlational design with a total sampling technique involving 18 students. Data were collected using a physical activity questionnaire adapted from Active Healthy Kids Indonesia and the Global School-based Student Health Survey, as well as an observation sheet of learning activeness based on the Profil Pelajar Pancasila. The results of the normality test confirmed that the data were normally distributed. Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis revealed a very strong and significant positive relationship between physical activity and learning activeness (r = 0.884; Sig. = 0.000). Furthermore, simple linear regression analysis showed that physical activity explained 78.2% of the variance in learning activeness, with the regression equation: Learning Activeness = -19.870 + 1.996 × Physical Activity. These findings indicate that higher levels of physical activity contribute to increased focus, motivation, and active participation in learning. The study highlights the importance of integrating physical activity into daily school routines as an effective strategy to enhance student engagement and support the achievement of Profil Pelajar Pancasila dimensions, particularly critical thinking, collaboration, and independence.
