Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers’ strategies in overcoming students’ learning Keywords: keyword 1, keyword 2, keyword 3, etc difficulties in the digital science and social studies classroom (IPAS) of grade VA at MIN 1 Semarang, based on the framework of Society 5.0. Using a qualitative descriptive case study design, data were collected through observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers implemented eight indicators of Society 5.0 comprehensively: humanistic digital planning, human-centered implementation, adaptive-creative strategies, empathetic teacher-student interaction, identification of learning difficulties, reflective use of digital media, balanced digital evaluation, and facilitation of IPAS process skills. The results show that digital gamification and scaffolding strategies significantly increased students’ participation, while empathetic interaction and balanced assessment strengthened engagement and reflection. The main difficulties identified were cognitive and digital literacy aspects, which were effectively addressed through adaptive teaching strategies. This research contributes conceptually by enriching the literature on Society 5.0 in elementary education and practically by providing a model of interactive, reflective, and humancentered digital learning relevant to the challenges of the 21st century.
