Abstract

Fakultas Hukum Universitas Darul Ulum Islamic Centre Sudirman GUPPI (UNDARIS) Ungaran ABSTRACT Background To find out the role of BPBD (Regional Disaster Management Agency) in handling and spreading Covid-19 in Boyolali Regency, To find out obstacles to BPBD (Regional Disaster Management Agency) in handling and spreading Covid-19 in Boyolali Regency, To find out efforts to overcome obstacles in carrying out the role of BPBD (Regional Disaster Management Agency) in handling and spreading Covid-19 in Boyolali Regency. The research method used is the normative juridical and sociological juridical method, the specifications in the research are descriptive analytical, population and sampling methods are all objects or all symptoms or all events or all units to be studied, data collection techniques using library research and interviews, data analysis used is qualitative. The results of the study were the role of the Boyolali Regency BPBD in preventing the spread of covid-19 by carrying out several disaster preparedness. For COVID-19, several things need to be prepared, including standard procedure criteria (NSPK), policies and strategies, the Rapid Action Team (TGC), infrastructure and logistics, as well as financing carried out by the Boyolali Regency BPBD. Obstacles in carrying out its role are that hospital facilities and infrastructure are not yet available specifically for isolation rooms and the availability of ventilators: There are still hospitals that refuse PDP COVID-19: Human resources are not all trained to handle COVID-19: Operational assistance in the field has not been maximized. Cross-sectoral coordination is needed. Lack of community compliance with the implementation of health procedures, lack of BPBD personnel and the National Police and Sat Pol PP. Efforts to overcome obstacles in carrying out the role of BPBD in the prevention and spread of Covid-19 in Boyolali Regency namely preparing the need for health services by optimizing the preparation of Government and non�Government hospitals for COVID-19 referrals: increasing the need for health resources (manpower), infrastructure (such as beds and isolation rooms), and medical devices (ventilators, tubes). oxygen, radiology equipment) as well as increasing the provision of PPE needs for hospitals, health centers, and quarantine locations Keywords: Role of BPBD, Prevention and Spread, Covid-19
