Abstract

ABSTRAK Dini Ayu Praditta, 2022. Hubungan Antara Minat Membaca Dan Prestasi Belajar Mata Pelajaran IPS Siswa Kelas IV SDN Kawengen 01. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu KePendidikan, Universitas Darul Ulum Islamic Centre Sudirman GUPPI Ungaran. Pembimbing Utama: Dr. Sutomo, M.Pd, Pembimbing Pendamping: Nimas Puspitasari, M.Pd. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat membaca siswa sehingga menimbulkan prestasi belajar siswa yang menurun terutama pada mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas IV SDN Kawengen 01. Rumusan masalahnya yaitu apakah ada hubungan antara minat membaca terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas IV SDN Kawengen 01. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara minat membaca terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas IV SDN Kawengen 01. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data korelasi. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV di SDN Kawengen 01 dengan jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 30 siswa. Variabel-variabel yang diteliti meliputi: minat baca dan prestasi belajar IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t dengan melakukan uji normalitas terlebih dahulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat membaca mempunyai hubungan terhadap prestasi belajar IPS di kelas IV SDN Kawengen 01. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perolehan hasil uji hipotesis dengan rumus uji t, yaitu dengan nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel (6,112 > 2,048) maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Artinya ada hubungan antara minat membaca terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas IV SDN Kawengen 01. The research is motivated by the low reading interests on Learning Achievement in Social Studies Subjects of Class IV Students at Public Elementary School Kawengen 01. This research uses quantitative methods with the type of statistics research. The formulation of the problem is there relations between reading interests on learning achievement in social studies subjects of class IV students at at Public Elementary School Kawengen 01. This study aims to determine the relations between reading interests on learning achievement in social studies subjects of class IV students at at Public Elementary School Kawengen 01. This research uses quantitative methods with the type of correlation research. The research population was all fourth grade students at at Public Elementary School Kawengen 01 with 30 students taken. The variables studied included: reading interests and learning achievement in social studies. The data collection using a questionnaire and documentation. Hypothesis testing using t-test by conducting normality tes. The results showed that reading interest has a relationship with learning achievement in social studies subjects of class IV students at at Public Elementary School Kawengen 01. This was evidenced by the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test formula, with the t-count value greater than t-table (6.112 > 2.048) then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that there is relations between reading interests on learning achievement in social studies subjects of class IV students at at Public Elementary School Kawengen 01.
